My ranking is simply based on what gets me the most excited with Gaga's music - I think all of her work is great, but I think she's at her absolute best when she is weird, outrageous and extremely ambitious with the message she's trying to convey. Born This Way and Chromatica both 100% succeed in that (in my opinion). I also think Chromatica is her most concise, focused and consistent record to date.

Born This Way, Joanne, and ARTPOP are all interchangeable for me. They all could either go in the 3-5 slots depending on how I feel.

Chromatica (Perfect all the way through, no songs I want to skip. Emotional, epic and cohesive)

Born this Way (highest highs of her career. Saved my life almost a decade ago)

The Fame Monster (dark, edgy, bombastic, completely iconic)

ARTPOP (Grows on you, some of the lowest points in her catalog but still a great album)

ASIB (great film, great soundtrack. The ballads and collaborations were the highlights)

The Fame (Iconic, but only use the singles, ILIR, Paper Gangsta, Summerboy)

Joanne (Not a fan. Only use Diamond Heart, Perfect Illusion, Sinner's Prayer John Wayne and Just Another Day)
