"Operation Pridefall' is an cyber attack on the LGBT+ community planned by incels and homophobes on '4chan'. It is supposed to start today (1st of June - it is 1:30am in NZ so it's still May for most you but this is a good heads up... I think). I think by the sounds of it, it will run through to the end of the month, when pride ends, but it could end sooner or later depending on the 'success' They will be leaving homophobic comments, doxxing people (publicly exposing people’s address and/or real name on the internet {people may potentially show up to these addresses with malicious intent to torment, kill, torture and/or rape, this has not been confirmed and is hopefully highly unlikely}), and sending vile videos and images (including gore, r*pe and murder) to LGBT+ creators on tiktok, instagram and twitter. This is all already happening, many members of the LGBT+ community have already been sent horrific videos and photos via dm and have been doxxed. A 12 year old’s address has been posted along with many other LGBT+ member's. This is all before it is 'scheduled' to start. Spoiler They will also be posting homophobic comments on small brands who are supporting the LGBT+ community and then manipulating LGBT+ members responses in an attempt to portray the LGBT+ members as crazy and make owners of the accounts and the brand question if they are supporting the right thing. If you see anything like this please report it and block the user, if you are apart of the LGBT+ community please do not download anything and be careful what videos you are watching (especially on Twitter) do not give out your address to people you don’t know (especially people off dating apps) as the information can and will be released to the public if they are not who they say they are. So please, if you see anything like this happening PLEASE report the comment/post and the account and then block them. This is not meant to create fear, this is to warn you all and make sure you are aware. Especially with Twitter, Twitter doesn't care about subject matter it only cares about the engagement so every time you reply to someone or a post you're actually making it more popular and appear in more searches. March34th 1,973 Posted May 31, 2020 Share Posted May 31, 2020 thank you for posting abt this i talked about this on GGD a few days ago but my post flopped i'm taking some precautions online this month to ensure i'm safe and have spoken with my gay friends and ally friends who are involved in a lot of community based stuff and are easily recognizable as being LGBT online about whats going on. they're thankfully doing some stuff to ensure they're safe too and spreading the info around. I don't think the stuff these 4chan losers were planning to do will play out in full because it's probably just some neckbeard incel ben shapiro type people as it usually is but it's never wrong to make sure we take precautions! stay safe everyone and happy pride! Good idea to sign up for one and use as a layer of protection from any hackers or trolls trying to doxx.
