NY Police beat down peaceful protestor and call her "stupid f*cking b*tch"

Please proceed at your own caution. A video has surfaced of a New York City police officer beating a peaceful female protestor brutally to the ground and calling her a "stupid f*cking b*tch" while doing so.

The woman who got injured immediately had to take to her twitter because accounts in support of White Supremacy and Trump accused her of spitting on the police officers, which was untrue as she was wearing a face mask at the time (and therefore unable to spit on anybody).

I just wanted to post that it feels as if the police were doing this on purpose. It’s as if people in power can manipulate the last enforcement to make protestors seem more violent than they are and create the narrative of “thugs”.

Exactly. Cops do this type of **** for fun. They get a high off the power they have over civilians. It’s no wonder racists cops kill innocent black people. They think they are entitled to do so.

I believe this is not the officer in the video the OP is referring to. This officer is from California where as the one in the OP is in New York. Not that the officer in your picture shouldn't be held accountable for his own actions in San Jose, but the officer in New York should to be identified by his real identity. Every cop abusing their power needs to be put on blast. 

 

But the case of Jared Yuen brings up another point, in that other minorities aren't exempt from this discussion just because we are minorities. As someone of Asian heritage, I am fully aware that we are much more privileged than those in the Black community. To an extent we are fighting the same fight, however we can't deny that our fight is much more easier than black people. I beg everyone of every minority to realize the privilege they may or may not have and help our brothers and sisters. I hope these protests aren't done in vain and that real positive change comes out of this. People have been hurt for too long.
