Imagine thinking murder will solve something. You sound like that ****ing cop who killed that innocent man. Ew. Too much for me for the night.

You're putting words in my mouth. I never said I supported it. I'm just explaining why it's happening - people are sick and tired.

Obligatory "not justifying it", its a crime and they should be held accountable, but everyone is missing the big point here.

Violence doesnt stop violence, but it breeds it, we are seeing a community that just wont take **** no more, the way anger makes them see it is "we get brutalized for being black, if you stop us from the right to protest about it, that means you support violence against us".

Again, this is in no way a justification, its horrible that it has come to this, but they have been pushed, and pushed, and pushed. This is the consequence of that. They reached the boiling point.

No I'm not concerned for you at all. I won't mind seeing you instead of that man getting beaten since you find it ok and progressive

I’ve read he didn’t make it. Hoping that is false.

Maybe. Peaceful protests havent worked, black people are STILL getting killed, so what have they got to lose?

My moral standing would be that if you can try and stop people losing their homes, business and some their lives - then there is definitely better ways to get things done. I don't know anyone that could argue that people should be used as cannon fodder when these types of protests have proved time and time again that they do not work. Its an absolute vicious cycle and enough people have died already.

The people committing the violence and lootings don't care about George Floyd or the general cause - they're just thugs and criminals who are taking advantage of the opportunity. You're actually doing the vast majority of the black community who want to solve this issue passionately and peacefully a massive disservice by lumping them in with these animals.

Killing someone is NEVER the answer. Just stop! I’m ****ing disgusted because of you defending what you saw in that video! Whoever he is it is not okay! That video is disgusting and every sane person would be against it just like what they did to George!

If killing someone is never the answer then please explain the thousands of black people who have been murdered by American police forces over the years.

This is what it’s all about.

And beating a shop owner that worked so hard for years nearly killing him for defending his business is getting revenge and serving justice for the black people how ?

If that what it’s all about, then work needs to be done within the system and in collaboration with law enforcement. Not by beating a man trying to protect his business and livelihood to near death. There is a clear difference in those who are protesting and rioting in Floyd’s name to make change, as opposed to those who are using this turbulent time to destroy, hurt, and demolish any progress of this movement.
