The Matrix

hear me out here

The album cover looks like an obvious reference to the pod scene from The Martrix with the black tubes and pink coloured “cell”.

Alice is an obvious reference to Alice in Wonderland and what movie is famously based off it?

Not to mention “pop a 911” as a reference for “Red Pill/ Blue Pill”

"A world without rules and controls, a world without boundaries, a world where anything is possible"-The Matrix

"In Chromatica, no one thing is greater than another"

Well? :ohwell:

I’m sure there’s more references

It’s very interesting of her all concepts she can put in an album. If we think, there’s LOTS is them on Chromatica: the chromatic colors, chromatic in music structure, all of her inspiration on 90/00s music and pop in general... the idea of liberty, dancing throughout the pain and many others that she REALLY knows how to use all of them, it’s just amazing... ugh her mind:diane:

That’s why I said pop in general :sis:

and I dare to say even some espiritual references if you understand the relation between matrix and some espiritual concepts - since we’re having a spiritual tribe in Chromatica.
