If y’all would change a single thing about this album you’ve lost your mind and may as well slap Gaga and her entire team in the face. Bloodpop (and everyone else that worked on this album) have done an amazing job and you’re pressed because you didn’t get exactly what you wanted. Literally so embarrassing lol :billie: Anything else we can talk about besides how ungrateful we are? :flutter:

Sorry hon if it makes you feel any better if you don’t like this one you’ll probably never get a dance pop album from her you’ll like again!

Well the album version of Babylon feels more like an overall celebration (the added choir/saxophone really embellishes upon this tone) that wonderfully conveys Gaga's message which states that she's back and no longer cares about what people say. The darker tone and more "industrial" aspects of the original version wouldn't necessarily work as well an closing track.

I don’t think they should ruin a perfect dark instrumental just because they needed an uplifting ending for the album. She could’ve easily closed with Stupid Love instead.

Can y’all get over it. The album version is amazing.

No denial, the album version is way superior. But that doesn't mean, we can't wish to get the demo too :billie:

PG.

In the Twitch stream from last night, after he confined that the haus labs version of Babylon would be released, he gave us the reasoning behind the choice: “They’re both good. They both have a special purpose. This one we knew we had to end the album with. The haus labs version, the aesthetic of it, didn’t make sense as an ending.“

entire convo starts around 1:59:00 if you’re interested in watching.

edit: stop bashing Bloodpop, in all honesty he’s been her best producer imo. He worked extremely hard like Gaga, let’s appreciate his work.

He is not her best producer LOL

The one on the album is absolute perfection and triumphant. It feels like a celebration, like she’s a phoenix rising from the ashes.

Lowkey I could not get into the HL version and love what was done with this one.

I think what we aren’t “ready” for is how many times you hit enter between sentences. Babble on.

Well to be fair, it is THEIR work so if they decided to alter Babylon so it can fill a specific need or fix something that wasn't feeling 100% complete in regards to the grand scheme of the album then it is unequivocally valid.

In your opinion sure, but let's not treat it as if its somehow factual.
