Schwerk 7,251
I don't really understand missing something that is still here? I mean, you can play the music whenever you feel like it and watch back performances of that era. Personally I wouldn't want Gaga to get stuck in any era, I love that she keeps exploring different sights and sounds. I don't have a favorite album, I like different things about all of them. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
flyaway 15,350
Of course, her most personal one... Although Chromatica is very personal as well
March34th 1,973
I have been a casual fan since 2009 but became a full time stan during the Joanne era shortly before the JWT kicked off, so Joanne has a special place in my heart. I was just a baby (16) when it was released It gives off the same nostalgia feeling for me that I felt for the ARTPOP era during the Joanne era, but that's also an exciting feeling because Gaga's career has advanced and we have seen it first hand, day by day

I don't know why just because an album is personal to her, we can't dislike it. You can dislike it, but I feel like the straight-forward "no" answers just make it seem so harsh. Like, it's good that you appreciate it, but I didn't get that from your post. It just seemed like, "no" *drops the album on the ground* 𝔊𝔬𝔬𝔡𝔟𝔶𝔢, ℑ'𝔩𝔩 𝔰𝔢𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔦𝔫 𝔪𝔶 𝔡𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔪𝔰

Girl, hating on her previous albums every time a new one comes out is a tradition amongst her fans . I will always adore Joanne, it’s one of my favorite albums of hers and also one of my favorite eras. Diamond Heart, Joanne, Million Reasons, Sinner’s Prayer, Come To Mama and Angel Down are some of the best and most beautiful songs she’s ever made. I hope it wasn’t just a phase for her and I hope she eventually comes back to the folk genre because there’s still so much ground to be covered there. I feel like people are just biased, if I'm being 100% honest. Chormatica is reminiscent of "Old Gaga," and I think that's what many people have wanted from her for a long time. A lot of people hated (and still hate) Joanne because it was just so different and unexpected for Gaga. I mean, if I said, "I don't miss The Fame Monster or Born This Way," people would rip me to shreds 𝔊𝔬𝔬𝔡𝔟𝔶𝔢, ℑ'𝔩𝔩 𝔰𝔢𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔦𝔫 𝔪𝔶 𝔡𝔯𝔢𝔞𝔪𝔰
iMonster 1,037
No. I fully understand now her perspective and what she was trying to accomplish/give to her dad and for his healing. But I won't miss that era at all. I'll probably bop to it here and there (like once a year?) but It's the last album on my Gaga list. Although I'd listen to Joanne in FULL before I'd listen to Jewels N Drugs Still can respect and admire her musical ambition and creativity but right now I feel like we're in a Gaga rebirth! spector 1,919
joanne was cute, it helped gaga's mental health and public image a great deal, but i'm really enjoying the chromatica era. it was time for her to move on, so we should too. bye, joanne stella + elliot = stelliot
Lord Temptation 11,209
I won’t say that I will miss ha, I mean, did I ever truly know ha? But I will say that I will be happy when she returns

lavenderblondee 3,695
Of course! It's such an incredible album and it was a raw unfiltered Gaga we might have only gotten once thanks to the man that is Mark Ronson. Chromatica is an incredible era/album already and I love seeing Gaga happy, but it doesn't mean we can't love/miss Joanne and the era.
