It would have definitely gone #1 and it being the lead would probably boost its longevity. However ROM was an excellent choice as a single at this time as it's brought more attention to the album. Yes, and there's huge similarities regarding her lead single choices since BTW. They're all great introductions to their albums as they let you know what the album's gonna be like without giving too much info (so that you get hooked on the hype), very radio friendly and the most literal, easy to get, in-your-face lyrics of the entire album.
