I not selfish i just dont think its fair to attack people who are upset about the the livestream thats all

Maybe try being upset privately. That's all you need to do right now. Now is not the time to "one up" with your sad story. You can be disappointed that Gaga cancelled the listening party. Your feelings are valid. But, keep them out of this larger discussion about more serious issues right now.

She did the right thing. If you want to be angry, upset, etc., direct your anger to THE SITUATION that forced the cancellation. Channel it into something useful, like becoming educated about what is happening and why, and how you and I can actually create change. That's what Gaga has asked us to do by voting.

Right decision, in my opinion.

I was looking at those images on Twitter and following breaking news on TV and I felt so bad.

Society is just experiencing one of the saddest and deplorable moments ever. What it's happening in the US is the outbreak and climax of a rampant movement of racism and xenophobia, which has to be confronted and defeated, and btw lies underneath our eyes everyday.

Chromatica is the total opposite: inclusive, timeless, empowering and joyful. She's given this record to us today and we can still listen to it to alienate from this situation. But we must be aware of it, because in a scale of values, people's lives occupy the top spot and this is something on which we have the duty to reflect.

We'll listen to it and dance. And by dancing we're going to exorcise the pain is affecting mankind, as Gaga would like us to do.

I'm protesting with you, guys, virtually:pawsup:

the only comment on this thread that could be considered legit hateful was the one that was "this #BLM Sh*t again". That was uncalled for and a total tonedeaf meltdown

The rest is just conversation. Everyone's entitled to their opinions but if your opinions don't have anything tyo back them up (such as whining because you wanted tow watch a live stream despite the fact that there's social unrest in America right now) you'll get dragged :ally:

girl we ARE talking abt that,

we're talking about why it was postponed and why you're ridiculous if you're angry at her and/or others for it being postponed due to current events.

I don't think that this is a good idea. I'm obviously pro-BLM (if you're not, you simply have a problem), but this is giving people another weapon regarding the new internet-inquisition era.

She's delayed a MONTH the album already because of the coronavirus and the woman has been working and talking with many people, including politicians, members from WHO, etc. for the international good, so tagging her as careless or insensitive is simply STUPID.

And now, she's WORKING on HER stuff, and she's about to keep doing it with us and celebrating the culmen of her last 3-year project, but because she's in risk of being tagged as a RACIST and INSENSITIVE and being the next victim of the cAnCeL cUlTuRe she has to scrap off, again, when it makes no sense.

I would understand this if there was an international concentration called at the moment, but there isn't. Actually, this Sunday there's some, including here in Berlin, and I'm going to show my support (i don't say this to sound cOoL or wOkE but because I mean that you can both be supportive and want to do something else than lock in and wait if you're not in the usa), but I still see no point on this, when it is actually a GREAT opportunity for doing it and USING it as a platform to talk about the MURDER and educate the fans and everyone listening to her because of the album release.

But hey, no, let's obey the internet. You all are creating a dangerous monster, and this I don't mean it just because of the current incidents.

I would understand this if the MURDER had happened today. And this is not because it is Gaga, I'd say it for any other event. We don't have to shut up or just ignore awkward situations. We need to talk about it. That's what people actually don't understand. These things still happen because WE'VE BEEN AVOIDING TO TALK ABOUT IT and educate each other. To cancel stuff (not because Gaga wants, because people DEMANDS HER to do) doesn't solve anything at all.

The only thing that is ridiculous is dragging someone for being upset about something they were looking forward too

Again unfortunate but what can you do... I’m so ashamed to live in the USA between the way we’ve handled this damn virus and all this police brutality, it’s depressing
