We can't come to a final conclusion right now.

First, protests will spread and become more and more resonant this week, cause people look for a social change and justice.

Secondly, we'll understand if people like the album in the next few days. If streaming numbers keep dropping, well, we'll have our answer.

Anyway, it's an amazing album:music:

Well After Hours and Future Nostalgia were released in the midst of quarantine as well. So no excuse for that.

The only difference is the riot. Plus, Dua did a lot of promo throughout the week (I remember there was a list of her run down throughout the week. I'm not sure whether The Weeknd did any promo

Ms Dua snatched every single promo spot LOL :billie:

After Hours had massive promo as well :billie: with a certified SMASH and prior performances for huge exposure :billie:

Note this: Ms Gaga HAS NOT performed even ONE song from Chromatica :billie:

The most important thing is not to delay much with the lack of promo and silence. I hope they have everything planned for a long period of the entire era.

They have. It’s just that sh*t keeps happening in the world. We were gonna have a listening party with her and I’m pretty sure she was gonna interact with us throughout the week + promo on tv. But, it is what it is. They’re still planning to release more mvs in the coming weeks so, the era definitely will be long.

Does it matter? Damage is done

A deluxe version, a short documentary within 2 weeks. There's also a new remix EP :poot:

Art not chart definitely

Because despite the worrying drops they really pulled the visuals and music out

Yes it's not ballads, it's gaga dance pop. so it'll have hard time sticking

But she served her fans everything and for that we thank her

that's why it really seems like they planned everything for this era. just unfortunate that we have to suffer two awful human experience right now. the timing wasn't right, twice.

Okay but conversely guys... Maybe a literal pandemic and nationwide riots will actually push her team for a Deluxe Re-release/EP that we were hoping for in the fall:trollga:

Yes ;)

The same annoying members still trying it with their bullshit.

She dropped the album on friday and since then didn't even say a word on it...let alone the fact she has done ZERO promotion so far(expect 2-3 prerecorded interviews outside us).

On top of that her spotify promotion hasnt been that good either, only 2 songs on TTH (even dua lipa got more song there)and ROM already got placed at #3 on the list, below Savage, when the later is 21 on official chart and ROM never left top 3 (the most corrupted platform for sure).

Lets not even compare it to Taylor Swift who was spamming herself everywhere with promo, performances, interviews and every desperate tactic to get her 1M sps opening week (which she failed).

This is so true

Chromatica is already blowing all of our initial predictions and pretty sure the label's as well w/o any major promotion. Sure it wouldn't hurt, but theres no need to go all out at once and given the whole US situation rn, its smart and obv for the best they keep the promo later on to help stretch the era's longevity, which is what Ga lacks severely from her last 3 eras (bar ASIB).

Yes, that's the reason I don't want such an incredible era to end so quickly.

I really hope so, because an album like this deserves a long era

I’ve reached the point where everytime we melt down and think Gaga has derailed her careers she continues to scalp us, like we’re having meltdowns over longevity when the album and song are poised to do a double #1 again, like back in ‘18.

Here we were, weeks ago when SL was dying slowly thinking the album would fail due to COVID19, we’ll get past this. Be patient.

Enjoy the music. All in due time

The difference is that Dua's era begun November with many live performances, interviews etc a full pre-promo and album's release was the final step! Gaga's era begun through Corona, no promo (except for 1-2 interviews) no live! Chromatica is doing fine because Gaga's name only! :)

I will fly on a challenger across the sky like a phoenix..
