It is probably just a matter of taste. My favorite Gaga is the lwall of hard synths Gaga ("Judas," "G.U.Y.") and that is pretty far from this. She deserves all the success she's seeing right now but even if the album didn't have success I would still be so happy with it. My very brief thoughts for each track : Spoiler Chromatica I/Alice - This is my favorite song on the album and the transition is amazing. I can't believe she'd serve a CAREER highlight like this 12 years into her career but then again I can Free Woman - was scared that the demo would ruin it for me but I'm loving it more and more. I love the meaning. She really did fight for this dance floor. Fun Tonight - my least fave but still cute Chromatica II/911 - OMGGGGGGGG. THE VERSES. THE PRECHORUS. NOT TO MENTION THE TRANSITION THAT KILLS YOU BEFORE THE SONG EVEN STARTS Plastic Doll - This is so old Gaga but with a fresh twist. Album highlight! THE PRECHORUS AHH Sour Candy - very cute gay bop. I was expecting it to be my least fave but it sounds so good within the context of the album Enigma - a bop I love the lyrics Replay - THE BREAKDOWN IS SO GOOD. THE TITLE IS A SELF FULFILLING PROPHECY BC IMMA REPLAY Chromatica III/Sine From Above - I looove this interlude and the song is super experimental I love the lyrics 1000 Doves - the melodies and overall vibe of the song is great.
