I disagree. Saying this only makes white people disregard the situation entirely. Not to mention, there are white people who are participating in the riots as well as being harmed by them.

White people are wholly involved even if they're not the initial victim of police brutality and you won't convince any of them to see it your way unless you acknowledge that they have a role to play here.

It can be one of healing (speaking out against these violent acts on PoC, voting for politicians who take this seriously, and supporting actions that hold cops accountable) or they can be agitators (ignoring it, "if you loot, we shoot", voting Trump, etc).

Injustice involves everyone, victim, perpetrator, and bystander alike. Nothing will change unless everyone can speak up.
