Why would you release SC a day before the album release? Blinks spam stream the when SC is released will not be counted for the BB Hot 200 run of Chromatica.

just a thought, what does it say on the iTunes API for other tracks?  Maybe this is just derping out iTunes because the album is released at different times WW and technically it is out tomorrow in NZ and will be out in the USA when some parts of the country it is still 28th May?

but seriously, the whole idea of kpop fans being located mainly in asia is a fallacy now. a majority of streams for sour candy will come from blinks within the united states (since american kpop fans are quite possibly the most dedicated when it comes to streaming). kpop fandom is no longer just an asian thing, it's an international fandom now and a huge percentage of the fanbase is located in the united states.

Thank you for this. So many users here love to discredit huge names in KPOP and don’t realize the magnitude those fanbases have globally, not just in Asia. Hate to diss your faves (including my baby Gaga), but no “Western” act has the power KPOP fanbases do. They just don’t, at least not anymore. Did y’all so quickly forget how a single member of BTS’ mixtape dropped and charted every track #2-11 of the iTunes Charts simultaneously? Was at #1 for YT views for a long while? How BTS ARMY will make their entire discography chart for fun? The delusion  never underestimate the true leaders of the pop-sphere

exactly. there's a lot of western pop stans that love to discredit kpop by saying 'oh they're just in asia'. it's no different to claiming that gaga's fanbase is just in america, when it very clearly is not. it's not even a matter of opinion, it's just plain false at this point.

i agree entirely. bts fans made 'on' chart at #4 despite it having virtually zero airplay or us promotion at all. the power of western portions of kpop fanbases is seriously underestimated.
