Lol nobody said Bradley was the sole force of Shallow, but let’s be honest ROM sounds amazing but we all know Gaga picked Ariana because of her streaming force, Gaga doesn’t cut it on the pop trends, if you don’t believe, take a look at how much Gaga is milking Ariana today on Twitter 

People have too much of a rose lens, it’s business and Gaga went with the biggest forces: Ariana + Blackpink

And it doesn’t mean Gaga doesn’t produce amazing work, she does. But she doesn’t have that IT factor that Ariana has had for the past years.

I think we have to give credit to both Gaga and Ariana for ROM. Of course Gaga’s vision is what created ROM, but you can’t deny that Ariana is a streaming force.

Not just her streaming force. Ari's airy vocals brought the track together. This is why sometimes I wish Gaga could try to sing in a lighter tone. Sometimes, a balance is needed in certain tracks.

Stupid Love (a song that leaked one month prior to its release) debuted at #5 and while it went down to 27/26/25 after a week, it stayed there for quite awhile. And:

So yeah, Ari is a big contribution to the sales, but ROM wouldn't sell much without Gaga either. She's not a has-been that now only depends on current famous popstars to chart. The reason ROM is doing well is because of the idea the these two huge female popstars collabed to make a banger track, not solely because of Ari.

Or if you actually listened to Gaga during her interviews, she picked Ari because of her past experiences and how they both can relate to the lyrics.

Interscope wants to introduce BlackPink to the English speaking consumers, that’s why the collab exists. It’s going to benefit them equally.

Are they even stans then? I think we all know how Gaga more than most celebs earned her way in the industry and works hard in everything she gets involved with. If anything, the success of Shallow and Rain on Me was assisted by her A-list celebrity fame and the number of monsters she has
