PoshLife 16,975
It's a little bit rich that some people have decided that "this Gaga song is too long" (e.g. Poker Face or Free Woman) is a perfectly valid opinion, while "this Gaga song is too short" is not. If it's okay to express an opinion about a song's length, then that must go both ways. In other words, don't hold other people to a higher standard than you hold yourself. TheLadyInRed 1,595
I’m kinda concerned by the duration of the songs... but like Rain On Me is only 3.02 and it feels like a complete song so I’m optimistic. At the same time, too long is not better. Just look at The Queen, the end is like one minute full of instrumental only, which was useless and made the song too long imo. HML166 2
i'm not that mad honestly with the songs being shorter , except for sour candy and babylon (babylon will be different from the demo we heard anyways, there other producers). i'm worried though if the majority of the songs keep the "instrumental chorus" structure and they are these short.. Zilla 13,382
I don't get why ya'll complaining about track lengths like at least we got an album after waiting almost 4 years for one? Daylight Jokers 14,958
The shorter Babylon is the many more times I get to play it in a day. It's a win.

metalguru 1,553
I mean there are so many great glam-pop albums with short tracks aka the Slider and Tanx of T.Rex (which is a super big influence on Gaga, she adores Marc Bolan) or Ziggy Stardust or Coming Up by Suede... Both those are glam rock albums..... With electronic music I feel like you need a bit more space. But if the album is a trashy dance punk album I am all for it. bpmMonkey 5,514
Listen to RoM right after SL. We don’t get intros and outfits to the songs this time, which I really like tbh. She jumps right into the song and off to next, leaving the track with mostly vocal time. I’m excited for it
