It having an instrumental chorus :madge:

People PLEASE:saladga:

It's not about songs becoming bad because they're short but of course you want to have more of something you love

If you love a series of course you want to have 5 seasons rather than 2

If you love the southwest sauce from subway of course you ask them to put more than usual on your sandwich

If you're really not bothered about tracks being so short then I would like to ask you which part of Bad Romance (4:55) you would like to cut to make it under 3 minutes? Alejandro? TEOG?

That’s exactly what it is. It’s like they purposely chopped the songs down. Goodbye to intros, outros, instrumental solos, complex bridges

No no no.

Goodbye to filler. Oh woah woah wooaahhhh

Time for growth. Trim the fat.

Looking at it on a positive side, it really forces you to be creative (with pop music at least) to make it pack a punch and catchy in under 3 minutes! Plus there's room for the extended fan edits

Future Nostalgia did a great job. I hope Chromatica feels the same.

Since y'all are so horny after the charts and keep asking for streaming parties, your wish has been granted. Shorter songs stream better and are radio friendly. Stop complaining about every little thing :excuseu:

The only track I’m disappointed in being so short is Babylon. That could’ve been a 4 min+ banger with lots of extra instrumental to close out the album with a bang. Anyway, Gaga really seemed to hone herself creatively with the shorter songs on Chromatica for the streaming audience. She seems to only be interested in serving quality at a high quantity in 2020, and I’m here for it. I miss seeing her play the game.

I think it's criminal when I can listen to an entire album and still have time to commute during a 30 minute drive.

The drama. Judge after you had listened to it. Theres no point in judge a song based on its length

Everybody stay calm please; Basically it is the structure of a song that determines its quality, certainly not the duration. If the album is cohesive like i think we'll enjoy it even much with short tracks.

We're in the streaming era. What would you expect Gaga to do? Make each song 6 minutes long for 16 tracks? :triggered:

No one said they wanted a 6 minute song, stop inflating reasonable expectations to make your point seem valid. Also the “streaming era” has nothing to do with it. If you wanna talk about 6 minute songs then look at Bohemian Rhapsody, people still stream the hell out of that song but a 6 minute song isn’t the issue. There have been hundreds of songs over the 3:30 minute mark released that have gone number one so shortening a song for streaming isn’t a legitimate reason. Also people expecting songs that are at least 3 minutes long isn’t unreasonable for Gaga because all but 4 of her songs are 3 minutes & up (unless you include Angel Down Work Tape which clocks in at 2:19).

You messy bottoms better chill

Dance in the Dark is 4:49, she’s only did 3 min during Engima and it was perfect. The times change. I’m sure they’ll be great
