They then changed it to an 8/10. Finally, they settled on a 10/10 a few months/years later. Metacritic doesn't do updated scores, only original scores. Media publications should not be allowed to backpedal reviews. It only highlights their past incompetence and current lack of balls for not standing by their original opinion. I would only be willing to accept a revision if and only if they tell us why THEY failed to see it right the first time round. Considering that an album can be stuck with the “wrong” review for life.
