rasclautmangos 2,740
It's really difficult to compare these two because they're both so great. Telephone will ALWAYS be my one of my favorite Gaga videos, but ROM is a more joyous song dance song.
ChromaticRaccoon 1,761
Rain On Me, wins for both better song and better video. IMO ROM is Gaga's best MV. The colours, the polish, the editing, the outfits, just everything about it is incredible.
Dayman 5,903
Rain On Me is better in all ways. Song was done as a truly collaborative piece TOGETHER. The video is better due to it being more focus - Telephone suffered from bloat and too many ideas and visuals fighting it out. Telephone still is a bop and a great video, RoM just feels more organically done and more concise and clear in its video.
HausOfMark 4,107
I love both. Im love both the songs and both of the videos. Its hard to chose. -Mark
RZLNL 381
In my opinion, both are cultural resets but since ROM was released just yesterday we can't wrap our heads around that idea YET.

Jose P 23,341
I’m still too hyped from ROM to answer. Telephone is the iconic classic, ROM is the bop that recently came out and I’m still excited over. It feels wrong to choose one over the other right now

spicemuncher 1,533
I like Telephone and the visual is stunning, but ROM just ticks all the boxes for me. Even in terms of the video, I prefer a short, concise music video that doesn’t interrupt the flow of a song to sell the plot. The bass, the vocals, the contrast between Gaga and Ariana, the campy bridge. I love it!

Toph 374
ROM is a much better song, but Telephone has an edgier video. It was a true cultural reset.
