It’s amazing! That opening scene of her with the knives falling from the sky may be one of my favorite music video moments from her entire career.

While not my most favourite ever video from her, it's a big improvement over Stupid Love. There's a sense of cheesiness without being corny. I love that Gaga was still serving hotness as I thought it looked from the cover art that it was going to be left to Ariana to pull in the male viewership, but no, Gaga's showing glamourous long hair and T&A too! I hope this will further extend people's newfound view that she's actually really pretty. I never thought Gaga would hold her own and compete against Ariana in the hotness stakes, but here we are. When she mirrored Ari's ponytail and make-up at the end, it reminded me when she did Videophone with Beyonce and mirrored her hair, outfit and heels because she claimed she didn't want to look like herself, she wanted to honour Beyonce by copying her style. I feel that's what she did here, which is so sweet of her. I feel like this is the kinda song Ari was trying to create with No Tears Left To Cry. It's getting a bit cliche how she keeps on making songs about crying and teardrops but hey, it's getting hits. Oh, and by the way, at just roughly 47 minutes into this premiere, its already overtaken the total number of likes that Katy Perry's Daisies has achieved in a week. Boy, how the tables have turned from 6 years ago. It's wonderful to see people pumped about a Gaga music video, it truly is.

However, I'm now resigned to the high possibility that this may be my least favourite Gaga album. Nothing she's released so far has been bad but it's just all a bit too generic for my liking. You can tell she's playing it safe this time to really capitalise on her success with ASIB. I just hope I'll still put it into the "good" category. It would break my heart to say that a Gaga album is merely ok.

Such a great and joyful video and I'm really in love with the cohesiveness and colour palette of the Chromatica aesthetic so far. The slight H.R Giger vibes to was really nice touch that adds to the aesthetic of the era.

I love how this seems inspired by LWYMMD (I remember Gaga commented when that video came out that she hated the director or something so she did seem lowkey jealous of the serve), Blade Runner and Beyonetta.

I’ve cried a few times cause, you know... It’s her!!! It’s Gaga the way she made me fall in love with her and her sound.

The world of Chromatica has so much ****ing potential I really hope Gaga utilizes it to the max. We had something going for BTW during the Ball but otherwise not so much. With Chromatica I can already imagine a whole storyline and universe.

It could be legendary. But there are probably budget constraints limiting what the team could do.

It is so far extremely generic, but generic can be cohesive, too. Let's see with the rest of the album.

Maybe she just needs this super generic dance pop album to heal herself and cement her status of the biggest pop star of our gen. I'd rather have something in direction of Coachella's intro, tbh.
