Something felt off and I just couldn't vibe with it too hard. (As opposed to when I first listened to SL or FW and I was bopping instantly) As I started listening to it (over and over and over) I REALLY started to love it - and here's why: even as Gaga's fans we put her in a box. And we (I) want her to produce a certain type of music and her voice to sound a certain way. But she does what SHE wants and releases music SHE wants and we as her fans should be open to her new ventures. I'm not preaching, just making conversation. So much for making this short anyhoo, the VOCALS on the track literally blew me away, the production is clean and crisp (my main criticism was that it didn't feel the type of house music I had envisioned but I also listened to the snippets so there you go) the lyrics actually started to make me cry. And not just because what I now know they mean to Gaga but because they inspired me to accept all this crazy bullsh*t in the world and just have fun! I share a lot of similarities with Gaga such as trauma, sexual assault, addiction, etc, so this track really resonated with me once I stopped being a little b*tch. So, kweens.
