doja's comment is the perfect metaphor for these lyrics being paid dust "And who I am is a big-time believer/That people can change, but you don't have to leave her/When everyone's talking, you can make a stand/'Cause even in the dark I feel your resistance/You can see my heart burning in the distance/Baby, baby, baby, I'm your man" while these lyrics go number 1 "Like it, love it, need it bad/Take it, own it, steal it, fast/Boy, stop playing, grab my ass/Why you actin' like you shy?/Shut it, save it, keep it, pushin'/Why you beating 'round the bush?"

I don't mind pop girls feeling comfy enough to talk about sexuality and her body like that, glad for their freedom! But also Lana is top notch poetry that deserve all the recognition in the world. More than Doja's at least.

... and now i just sit in silence.

Paid dust by... the critics that gave it an 85+ score on Metacritic or the Recording Academy that gave it 2 nominations or the 100,000+ first week sales it got? Doja’s album hasn’t even cracked 11k pure sales

Lana’s victim mentality got y’all convinced :saladga:

She obviously just wants the attention on her. All that word vomit, and for what? An album date announcement. :toofunny:

She’s trying. Girl got that no1 and she thinks she’s the biggest artist out there. Lana is one of the most talented people in music industry and her lyrics are truly something profound. Say whatever you want but Lana has a point, she was never appreciated by charts or award shows and she has more talent in her pinky than some of the women she mentioned in their whole body. This has nothing to do with them being black or whatever y’all are trying to imply.
