signed Chromatica album as an investment?

I purchased a few signed items from the Chromatica store and I am thinking of leaving a CD or an LP unopen so I can try and sell it later on.

Does anyone have a realistic prediction for the value of the signed LP or CD in the next few years? I expect that they will increase in value, but do any of the fans here have more knowledge about collector items like these? I see some signed ASIB items on ebay, and they sell for a decent amount, but some of them are permanently discoutned and still not sold.

What is the realistic value of a signed LP or CD?

It's not the 80s or 90s anymore. An autographed copy of something, especially one that honestly isn't going to be thaaaat rare, isn't going to sell for over $100.

I think with the CHROMATICA signed art card being widely available on Gaga's stores it won't be as rare. Ive brought both JOANNE and C2C signed art cards and they were much more expensive as they were only available in the USA, even the ASIB ones have gone down in price a little bit now.

Didn't I read somewhere that they didn't guarantee they would send multiple signed items to people who bought more than one, precisely to prevent this kind of stuff from happening?

these mass-signed items dont gain much value over time.

One-of-a-kind signed albums (ones that fans had to actually meet Gaga to get signed) tend to go for about $200 it seems. So you'd have to expect less than that for mass produced autographs. Right now resales of the signed Chromatica CDs are going for about 70 or 80 dollars. So I'd guess in a few years the price might be around $100 for this item.

Then again, a lot of people thought the ARTPOP foil edition would end up becoming an expensive collector's item. But even though she completely deleted a song from the re-release, I still see 2013 foil ARTPOPs going for 20 bucks on the internet. So the price might never increase if there are enough out there. :nooo:

Buying autographs to sell is just... also Gaga's autograph isnt really worthy because she likes to sign and she's still alive.

And it's not a signed CD or an LP, it's a signed carboard print. You will left them unopen but the autograph doesnt come inside :huntyga:

You can keep them and keep checking eBay to see how high they’d go.

The real question is are they really hand-signed by Lady Gaga herself or are they reprints of her autograph or someone else signed it on her behalf? And how do we know for sure?

I am happy as long as I can sell them for the same price I bough them if I need some urgent cash one day.

In the meantime I will keep them for myself

I didn't buy them just to sell them, but I am thinking of this as an option one day if I need some cash and the item has value.
