My only point in any of this is that it is hilarious to me that after months of Lady Gaga fans saying that Beyonce needs to hop on some one else's song to have a hit (which is simply not true, as evidenced by her tremendous success with the singles from Lemonade in spite of the fact that they were limited to a single premium streaming platform) that she could potentially block Gaga's collaboration with the biggest female artist of the streaming era. I don't care if she actually does, I would be tremendously happy if Rain On Me went #1, but it's interesting that after such a long time of monsters discounting Beyonce's power that they finally must regard her as competition this week.
