After all, gay MEN majorly drive her narrative and constantly scrutinise every detail of her personal and professional life. I too would be depressed if people would expect me to not make mistakes and constantly be #1 at everything to feed their ego because they chose to identify with me. Not everything she does needs to be top notch nor it can be due to budget restrictions and label's commercial demands. Of course people are free to discuss and judge, but the amount of entitlement from the majority of her fanbase, gay men, is ridiculous and just comes off as good ol' mansplaining to me. Despite the overwhelming noise of the music industry and the fanbase, she is trying to find the silver lining of being a commercial artist, to keep fighting for her vision and to inspire others to fight for their vision too.
