Why Is Applause Underrated?

I heard it on the radio recently when me and my dad were driving through a city named Rosedale, I forget which station but I was LIVING in the passenger seat! 

Also the Gay Group, it's a group of LGBTQ+ kids that hang out by the corner infront of the auditorium doors, they were BLASTING Applause so loud that you could hear it in the cafeteria, I was living for THAT

Actually, Applause is being played at gay clubs from time to time in here and it's really fun.

I don't feel like it's underrated. I feel like it's a fan's treasure that was hard for the PG to swallow

(It had hype for being gaga's lead single but wasn't a big hit)

and honestly, most songs are being forgotten pretty quick these days and even big hits.
