You're right. I think they still would have wanted her to keep the 'crazyGa' image for the public. But again this was a problem because they would have wanted her to be more outrageous and one up herself more than ever. She could have instead done what Madonna did with True Blue, gone classy and left all the copycats in the dust! MTN, Y&I, and TEOG could have surprised people if released them as singles!

I think BTW came out at a good time. I think the ARTPOP delay with her injury is what got people tired of Gaga & her reinvention was necessary for her mental health and reputation. ARTPOP was supposed to be out March 2013 apparently. The public is ready for her weirdness again. We've missed it. Bring on Chromatica.

I think not, as someone said she would have lost her HUGE momentum by waiting.

What she should have done was to release ARTPOP in November 2012 and revamp the BTWB with ARTPOP songs for its final four legs

OT: I wasn't a stan then so idk  I do remember liking the fact that she was performing BTW, Yoü and I, and Judas as the Monster Ball though. And when we were all assuming Princess Die was from ARTPOP, it really looked like this bish was nonstop. Album, tour, new album before that tour ends, another tour, ANOTHER new album.

I’m just talking about in general. You said it seemed Gaga was nonstop because she was constantly making and releasing new music, and then performing it. Gaga was never like that. Madonna actually was. Madonna was the one that was constantly releasing and promoting new music. She’s a workaholic.

Idk about Madonna 'cause I've never been a fan of hers and I don't follow her but as a casual Gaga fan back in 2009-2011 it did seem like Gaga just never stopped

The Fame and TFM eras blended together and before they were over, Gaga was performing three BTW singles on the Monster Ball. It's just one after another. And I imagine if it weren't for the hip and fibro, the ARTPOP era would have come around the end of the BTWB, and so on and so on.
