Tbh this is rivaling Blood Sugar as Mt fsve Jeffree palette. Like he said, a perfect Gothic neutral collection. I can't wait to play with it

This palette has been in the works since last year. Even if COVID weren’t happening people would still be getting cremated everyday. Y’all would’ve said NOTHING, or maybe you would’ve cause some of y’all seem incapable of not projecting your own issues on others. Are we just supposed to avoid talking about death? Should we just censor all negative things & live in a make believe world where only happy stuff happens? The over sensitivity is too much now. Every little thing. It’s like everyone wants to compete for first place but no one wants to lose so we have to give a trophy to everyone despite them not being the best & therefore denying the hard work put in by the person who should’ve won. This is the result of helicopter parenting I swear.

It's deeply ironic that a Gaga fan would ever say "it's Halloween one day a year" as if Gaga didn't spend half her career covered in fake blood, in coffins, singing about death and monsters, and wearing costumes normal people would only wear on Halloween.

Haus Labs was using multiple death puns in a single ad for RIP lip liner, less then a month ago, during a pandemic. Which is equally disgusting if we follow your logic.

I'm not sure why anyone on GGD would find this offensive.

You were joking, right. 

That advertising isn't going to make me want to buy it. Don't make it sound like GGD fans are here for just the macabre death scenes. That stuff was in her shows to make a point. Not necessarily to walk around looking like death because you find looking like death to be attractive, in a necrophiliac kind of way. Every shade in the JS new palette has a deathly grotesque name.  It's gross, from the perspective of GP. I think its gross to put "Last Look" on your lids blended with "Casket Ready" or "Embalmed".  Disgusting! 

[I don't know what the holes are for, in the Chromatica merch, so I haven't bought anything with holes in it. I'm ok with guns on Chromatica, from a theatrical perspective. ]

People are very bad with Jeffree Star. This palette was supposed to be released early April (like Chromatica ) and he releases it now to don't loose his fans. This beautiful guy deserves so much better.

I think some people are forgetting that like an album or other creation from artist and people like Jeffree... these things don’t get created over night. He has probably been working on this for a while and all shadow names coincide with the product name. Prob not the best to release it now, maybe should have waiting but still. It’s not like he’s like oh people are dying let’s name it cremation or whatever

He already pushed it back by over a month, unfortunately you can’t just keep pushing back the launch for makeup that expires.

Definitely agree! It was the first thing that I thought too. I get that this is an aesthetic he's done previously and wanted to create a line for. I really like the theme too, and think it's a cool idea. But, just given that tens of thousands of people are dying daily right now, it seems tone deaf. A better idea would have been to post pone it until around Halloween, or have just renamed it and done a different marketing campaign when they could shoot the photography. I don't think people need to cancel or attack him, but it could have been handled better.
