I argue from a left-wing perspective... because I'm a socialist. I don't offer up limp bromides like "oh, good point" and "yes, you may be right there" to people defending awful politicians and literal violent coups backed by an imperial power like what the usual band of right-wing figures on GGD have been defending in this thread because I don't agree with them. And I find their position morally contemptible.

I deliberately ignore you because I find the way you attempt to draw users on this site into "debates" that last for hours, focusing on semantics to ignore the substance of what users are saying to be insanely obnoxious and a waste of my time. I literally cannot remember the last time I actually engaged with you on here, honestly, so I have no idea why you'd be insulting about me anyway.

Again: if you find "sad" reacts to be heinous acts of physical violence and my refusing to adhere to meaningless, arbitrary social niceties while arguing with you over political issues that you barely understand, to the extent that you want to leave the site, then you should leave instead of passive aggressively complaining about me with the right-wingers that I've argued with before. You seem like you could use a break from this site anyway. You vacillate from tagging random female users to ask them questions about their periods one day, to publicly feuding with moderators over trivial nonsense another, to needlessly exposing extremely personal and private aspects of your everyday life to random strangers on the internet the next. The irony of you, someone who's alienated and annoyed a fairly sizable portion of this site over the years to the point that people regularly makes jokes about you, calling ME annoying because I have clear, coherent political convictions is hilarious. 

A break could really do you some good. You should seriously consider it.

Good for them if they want change, but thats not what we are talking about. The point of this thread is about a foreign country with bad history getting involved in regime change of another country.

This situation is really ****ed up 'cause Venezuela is doomed either way. Nothing good will EVER EVER EVER come from the USA but at the same time, I can't blame Venezuelan's for wanting this when they are really desperate for change.

Do u know how deeply infiltrated we are by China, Russia, Cuba and Iran? Like so deep that we want US intervention. We wouldnt want it any other way, but because of the amount of power and money that supports the dictatorship we need big allies.

From my perspective many on the far left here ignore many basic economic or market fundamentals in their opinions just the same

US foreign policies have always been atrocious, no matter if the president is republican or democrat. Other countries just have to somehow survive against US aggression and bullying tactics because US government isn't going to change any time soon.
