Biden support Trump regime change in Venezuela & Cuba Sanction

Guest

Featured Posts

Joe Biden said last month that as president he would engage with Cuba, but that U.S. sanctions over its support for the government of Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela could remain in place. Joe Biden also recently expressed support for Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó and his “efforts to restore democracy.” Guaidó has been trying to gain support for the ouster of Maduro since last year’s unsuccessful coup attempt.

In related news, Venezuela says it arrested three more mercenaries suspected of being involved in a failed coup against President Nicolás Maduro, and seized three abandoned Colombian combat vessels, reportedly equipped with machine guns and ammunition.

I'm so happy he was vocal about this, let's not forget Bernie did NOT recognize the legitimate interim president Juan Guaido and he did not speak of Maduro as a dictator, while the majority of free western society did. Let's not forget that Bernie hailed Cuba's educational program, while conveniently "forgetting" that the system that installed it did so by means of murder. Don't forget how Che Guevara flaunted about his murders at the UN. Let's take this moment to be happy that this situation was not politicized by Biden in response to Trump's own position on the issue. I am so grateful Bernie is no longer in the run, I would be scared that if he had won, it would mean hindering the process of the liberation of the Venezuelan people.

Anyone who pressed the sad reaction @27monster27 and @OG Gaga Stan, please, as a Venezuelan living in Venezuela, having to see the day by day decay of my beautiful country, please, for me and for my people, read on the atrocities of the Maduro regime, and for once, see that even Trump's administration is capable of some good.

@Faysalaaa I wonder why you lmao me, I hope you are not mocking the situation and my very earnest feelings about it.

I fully respect you and your country, and you being against your current president is something I support. But thats not what you are doing, you want a foreign country that has been known to use regime change to control other countries and gain from it.

Its been happening for decades and everyone knows this by now..

I by no means desire a regime change that comes with such conditions. Neither does Guaido. US support as of now has been strategic, in terms of the sanctions that only affect the dictatorship's officials, the indictment of Maduro and co, incentivising their capture by offering sums of money. Trump did not and will not cherry pick the new transitory government, instead they will facilitate free elections.

It sometimes comes with blind radical support of the left. I am left leaning with regards to certain issues and policies, and I hate having to deal with the misinformation that sometimes runs freely in the left. I use the word hate deliberately because I seldom use it and I mean it, I get this visceral emotion whenever I see someone support Maduro. I am 21, which means I was born with the Chavez regime, which means I have not known my country as anything but a failed socialist state. It's very sad, and I cannot contain my opinion when I see people speaking their objectively wrong opinions.

I understand your feelings about this but let me remind you this is very, very dangerous and probably won't end well for either the US or Venezuela. The US keeps trying to overthrow governments overseas including democratically elected ones and it's just not right. This is not the US's business to do. It's the United Nations' or other international organization's to do.

You should ask yourself, "Why is the US doing this?" Out of humanitarianism? Nope. They always have ulterior motives and will establish puppet governments to suit themselves, cause civil unrest, potentially create terrorists if they decide to militarize locals... US intervention is not worth it. It's never ended well.

yes lets talk about ulterior motives. Venezuela being in control by russia and china is a danger to the US. it is in their benefit that there is a regime change. no, it isnt because we have oil, its because we currently host a ton of massive drug dealing cartels and circles, and you won't believe this, several terrorist organizations from the middle east. in fact, a large number of terrorists have gotten into the US with fake venezuelan passports. so, yes, there are ulterior motives, but not the evil ones you think of

and just to add, i am not naive, i know of US history, literally i understand ur worry, but rest assured, it does not look anything like other cases, it really truly doesn't and the proof is out there, but i outlined some of it

What? Are you saying the US is doing this solely to prevent terrorists and drugs from getting into the US? You do realize they can simply add Venezuela to the travel ban list (which the US does pretty easily) instead of doing an expensive and dangerous intervention?

Their motive may not be oil but I am imploring you to please not allow the US to have its unchecked power over the rest of the world. It is very dangerous. This matter should be handled by international orgs or civilians alone, not foreign governments acting on a whim.
