Katy Perry hits #1 on iTunes US for the first time since 2016

Reaching #1 is an accomplishment? It was always going to go to #1 if only for a day or two. The real accomplishment will be for how long. Stupid Love was #1 for 4 consecutive days on iTunes. However she’s performing on American Idol on Sunday which will inflate its numbers for a few days. Good for her if the song becomes a success - it’s just not my cup of tea.

Doesn't it only take like 50 sales to be #1 on iTunes these days? I can't even tell you the last time I purchased a song. 

But, regardless, congrats to her! I love the song.
