inuborg 4,135
why is her life so messy? The life of an artist is never easy I root for you. I love you. You, you, you, you.
LordDisick 1
The niche worked for Lana thats because lana is tumblr central, she was all over. azealia is like the outskirts of tumblr, she has a little bit of hipsters, a little bit of rap fans, and a little bit of lgbt. but not a huge "stanbase"
Chic 20,830
I didn't even understand most of what he was saying tbh. :D - Maybe it's a good thing she'll leak her album because by the time her label actually releases it, Rihanna would've released her 15th album, Gaga would be on ARTPOP Vol. 10, Natalia would've had a proper hit and Porcelain would actually get her album released. On the other hand, I just think she's trying to scare her label into giving her a release date. *She :)

gpap 14
The thing I find so funny is that she rants on Twitter about how she's the best female rapper in the world but she can't get a hit or her album released. Her label clearly doesn't think she's gonna make them money because her music isn't appealing enough to an audience and demographic outside of her 'niche' market that people think she has. Her 'niche' market is apparently LGB's and Hipsters - I thought she was more popular with Hip-Hop / Rap fans and I'm surprised she hasn't had another hit like 212 or bigger. Being a good rapper doesn't mean that achieving a hit is easy. A Tribe Called Quest are the best rappers, but they never scored a top 40 hit.

gpap 14
Y'all are really confused. Fanbases can't help an artist get hits. And why would she have support from the hip hop community, when she makes hip house music, a genre dead since the 90's?

While it's a minimal contribution, they still have a hand
