omgwtfbbq 0
Azealia tweeted that 'A fa-ggot is not a homos-xual male. A fa-ggot is any male who acts like a female. There's a BIG difference.' I mean it's kind of true :toofloppy: That's what that word is commonly defined as. And then she called Perez a 'messy fa-ggot', meaning he is acting like Boomkack fag·got /ˈfagÉ™t/ Noun offensive. A male homos-xual. So acting like a girl is an insult now? Oh..... She was not addressing all gay males with those tweets. They shouldn't even be considered homophobic since they were directed at 1 person who I doubt she even liked in the first place. So if I as a white person call a black person who I don't like a "ni.gger" that wouldn't be racist? Where's the logic in that?
Cockiness 0
who the **** is you pressed hoes to tell people what to do tho? and standing up against prejudice in language and everyday situation IS doing something. in the words of Azealia herself "Imma take that b---h to college, Imma get that b---h some knowledge". words like b---h have been successfully incorporated into vocabulary without their original s-xist derogatory meaning but that's not the case with *******. specially when she defines it as "a guy who acts like a girl" and who's Azealia to say that acting like a girl is a bad thing? how can you seriously agree with that when you blast lyrics like "don't be a drag, just be a QUEEN" on your radio? y'know it wouldn't hurt to think about what you listen to, be it Azealia or GaGa.and I really don't see the point for this censorship. eugh. Shaney 5,515
fag·got /ˈfagÉ™t/ Noun offensive. A male homos-xual. So acting like a girl is an insult now? K..... Think about how society uses that word For example, If there was a blatantly gay male (dressed in female clothes, strutting around) walking out of a store, versus a gay male who is not as obvious, who is the one that's gunna get called a ******* by some homophobe? Leave boo. I have nothing against gay people, but in today's society, it's what happens. Sorry :nacho:
omgwtfbbq 0
So because "society" uses that word to describe those types of people, it makes it acceptable? You don't even have to be a super flamboyant gay person in society to be targetted by bigotry and insults. In many people's minds if you're a gay that likes guys, you're automatically labeled a "fa.ggot".

I don't find it racist anymore because black people call each other ni-ggers all the time anyways. So because "society" uses that word to describe those types of people, it makes it acceptable? Travis 543
I don't even care, it's just a stupid word that people get all uptight about :nacho: No point in arguing for it. But go Azealia for dragging Perez's assz

Leave with your insulted self. Are we seriously going with the ""Well how come black people can say it but I can't?"" argument? If you're not in the club you just don't say it. It's ok for a ginger to call another ginger a "ranga" (derogatory term for people with red hair) because they both share the same red hair charecteristic, it's ok for a bald person to make fun of another bald person for being bald because... guess why? They're both bald! Same for black people when they use the N word toward eachother because they're doing it amongst themselves. What's not ok is when a person outside of that group makes fun or throws derogatory comments toward a person based on their physical charecteristics. ESPECIALLY words like fa.ggot and ni.gger which have had a huge history and background involving prejudice and hatred.

omgwtfbbq 0
Of course you didn't, I should have figured you don't have the mental capacity to. paul 687
I love Azealia for dragging his ass, she really did go the whole way, no half-assed replies. she's apologised for if she offended anyone, so that's all fine in my eyes. made an interesting point though, how come we all don't care for the constant usage of "*****" between black people, yet we get in a frenzy when a lesbian calls a gay a *******? logic? Because a black person calling a black person a "ni.gger" is diffrent then a bis-xual woman calling a gay man a "fa.ggot". They're two diffrent groups of people, if it was a gay man calling a gay man a "fa.ggot" it wouldn't be such a big deal because they're in the same boat. Black person = Black person Bis-xual Woman =/= Gay Man

brownie 5
It's rumored she was dropped from interscope, and BWET is delayed. From allhiphop.com "Word on the street is that Azealia Banks has been dropped from her label home Interscope Records. It seems like they have not renewed some short-term contract for new recordings from the Harlem-bred 21-year-old. Looks like they just dropped her, straight up. Not sure of the source, but she was supposed to drop and album in the first quarter of this year and it seems like Broke With Expensive Taste will be on hold. She wasn’t getting any push anyway, save what she did herself on Twitter."
