heavyMetalGAGA 65
All this publicity has gotten me to actually check out her music... So good for her :haha: This. She's gaining publicity, and new fans, whether you sensitive b*tches can handle it or not. Peace out the double standards though, there's nothing to be offended about... :smh: ya'll are that damn sensitive? don't be so accepting of the word n*gga if you can't accept the word f*ggot she doesn't hate gays either, she raps about dykes in her songs. she's real as f*ck, if you can't handle it, go join perez's pity party :fail:

comrade 33
It really is amazing how many homos here praise her homophobic way with words.
keezle 1
i think the more gay ppl make a big deal out of gay slurs and play the victim card, the more likely we will be discrimminated. if you choose to be insulted by the F word, you're choosing to let the word have a negative connotation. if we are just let it slide and be carefree about it, more people will move on from using the word as an insult.. melodichard 3,757
Lol. Yeah. I really think a lot of Azealia's songs have homophobic undertones, but it doesn't matter. The fact of the matter is that twitter arguments are petty, and we should thank the Lord that GaGa doesn't dabble in it.

HausOfAntonio 7,995
seriously tho anyone who gets offended/butthurt by the word f aggot is just naive af. like seriously get over it. im gay and i use it quite alot. perez is always trying to sensationalise drama to make others look bad as though he is some perfect fat angel. Emphasis on 'fat'.
melodichard 3,757
People who are defending Azealia's behavior clearly didn't learn anything from the Born This Way era, lol. Like, the rap world for once is starting to stray away from all the gayhating derogatory comments with Frank Ocean's coming out (and being supported by a ton of people in the rap community), Jay-Z's support of gay marriage, etc., but then Azealia is running around on Twitter calling people *******s? You think she would realize how stupid that is, especially after she WORKED with Gaga for crying out loud! It doesn't mean anything if Azealia is a self proclaimed bis-xual. Who cares? Using people's s-xuality as an insult is totally lame!

I'm going to be honest and say that I don't like it when people constantly say "That's gay" or "They're so gay" as in insult, but Azealia's obviously not homophobic. She called him a fag*ott. We as a community, shouldn't be so butthurt about it. If she starts saying it constantly, then we can talk. It was a one time thing. Things happen. Also I think people too often see remarks like go suck a penis, when directed to a man, as a homophobic insult, but if you said the same thing to a woman, it has no homophobia in it. Perez is a gay men, and telling someone to suck a dick and slurp cum, is considered an insult regardless if youre straight, gay, lesbian, transgender, whatever, because is connotes a *****, which is condemned by society. People, and Perez have taken things way out of proportion. And Perez is just fake as ****. I love how he now promotes Angel Haze, not that there is anything wrong with her. Using people's s-xuality as an insult is totally lame! Gaga and the BTW era are not embassadors for gay rights. Just because Azealia worked with Gaga doesnt mean she will have the "mommy" attitude some gaga fans have gotten used to. Azealia has the right to say what she wants on twitter because it is her opinion and voice and just because she is Bis-xual does not mean she isnt allowed to fag, just how black people say ***** all the time. T3ARS 4,132
This year is going to be great :hor: It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences. - Audre Lorde
melodichard 3,757
Of course she has the right to say whatever she wants on Twitter, all I was saying is that she sounds like a moron. Which, she does.
australiagaga 28
Azealia herself has said that her biggest following is gay teens. She shouldn't have used the word '*******', but she's not homophobic in any way. It's exactly the same situation where Gaga used the word 'retarded'.
