Then I see people claiming she kept acting out on twitter in hopes that she'd finally get dropped. Plot holes. If her behavior on twitter didn't matter to the label than it wouldn't assist her in moving forward from the label. When these artists act out stupid it affects their management and theyre standing where they work. Thats just how it is. Especially considering how integral an artists social media presence is. Im not saying its the factor then, im just saying it is one. I dont think thats arguable. And im not that into M.I.A. but I can acknowledge that shes overcome some serious obstacles to get her point of view across to a lot of people. Even if she did wait around for her album to finally get released (allegedly), I don't think thats any less of a "great feat" than Azealia throwing tantrums to get dropped and making herself look like an angry fool. why are you so bothered, she is a critically acclaimed artist who was signed to a label who didn't realise her potential, and seem to be watering down everyone's music. Azealia refused to wait 5 years and change her album completely, so she decided to get out of the contract. This has nothing to do with her attitude, this is the real world and no one is that offended by a 20 year old woman saying **** on the internet. What Azealia did was bold and fierce IMO. MIA probably wouldn't have done that. Her music was probably watered down just to make it sound mainstream.
