FKAJAKE 5 Posted July 11, 2014 Share Posted July 11, 2014 I'll respond to each section in bullet points -they've given her grief probably creatively but also because of how she mismanaged her own reactions publicly. they didn't just push her **** back for no reason, she fueled that stonewalling and probably kept fueling it out of annoyance, like I said, like a spoiled tantrum -her attitude probably is a product of her environment but its not like she grew up poor and underprivileged, shes not from the hood she just grew up next to it, so to speak. I also was empathetic towards her at first, but the mouth just kept on running and only recently has she kept herself on the DL and its just a little too late imo. my empathy was out the door a long time ago. -you don't have to be brash to not be a door mat. bad girls club mentality is not positive and not representative of strength no matter how you want to paint it. also, the fact that she immaturely would find ways such as those to be dropped from her label like a child throwing a tantrum doesn't convince me that its like justifiable lol and you know....its not even just the attitude. I dont mind an attitude. But azealia constantly made something out of nothing. constantly. it was embarrassing. -I think some of them were mild and some of them were vicious. but it wasnt even what she said but the fact that she knew she was contributing to the online stan war nonsense and perpetuating the backlash with her accusations of plagiarism and what not. thats what I didnt find mild. its the intent, not necessarily the words themselves. i dont think it hurt gaga in the long run and tbh people throw insults her way so often i dont even care, but I just mean the intent of it wasnt mild if were discussing the subject. -I mean clearly I know she is a person lol shes not just a mouth with an attitude. but thats what I mean about her not being smart, she seemed to self sabotage and for whatever reason purposefully paints herself as an obnoxious troll and I dont find that justifiable and as I said I dont think it was smart for her career. I dont think that made her not be a door mat, I think it just exposed her as a douche. I dont care what gender you are or arent', an asshole is an asshole. and as much as I like her music, its not like she was just so amazingly talented that what did offer was enough to overshadow her actions. -and as for gaga being praised for insults, please, shes anything but praised for them. she is blasted for breathing let alone insulting someone. just because some delusional fans on here claim goddess doesn't mean that means anything lol the delusionals of any pop artist are not to be taken seriously. that being said though, gaga doesn't throw insults out that often and when she has in the past I have not always agreed with them. There are times that I do believe putting something in its place should be done, Azealia never really did that though. For someone whos always going on about female empowerment and moral social standing it seems hypocritical of you to support her brash attitude so adamantly. Why are you writing 5 paragraph MLA format essays against her? It KILLS me how people spend so much time and energy towards someone they dislike. ANYWAY I am conflicted about this turn in Azealia's career. Her career has been at a standstill for months, and it was the label's fault, but at the same time, labels are important for a reason.
