I mean, if they didn't want to release it while she was still under them, why would they want to release it now? Most likely she has the right to release it now under the terms that they get a much higher percentage of any sale as well as not being able to release the album under any other affiliation. My guess is she will release it on her own, make an attempt at creating her own buzz for the album (although not profiting much out of it), and hopefully cause enough hype that a different label will sign her on for a new album.
