Latwan is way older though, like Azealia went to go live with her for a while to get away from her mom. Lakimba was kicked out the house when her mom found out she was a Lesbian That sucks. + I think their father's dead? Azealia is talking about a big come up and the music video is filmed and she said the surprise Lakimba was talking about is infact music related.. But I still can't bring myself to believe that the album is actually coming. Like when I think about the album and all the songs like, Idle Delilah, Miss Amor and Miss C, Chasing Time, and Soda it seems like one big fairy tale. I root for you. I love you. You, you, you, you. Her mother raised her and two older sisters in Harlem, after their father died of pancreatic cancer when she was two years old. Following her father's death, Banks says that her mother "became really abusive – physically and verbally. Like she would hit me and my sisters with baseball bats, bang our heads up against walls, and she would always tell me I was ugly. I remember once she threw out all the food in the fridge, just so we wouldn't have anything to eat." Due to escalating violence, Banks moved out of her mother's home at age 14 to live with her older sister. oh my god I feel bad for what they had to go through idk its soooo weird. But Contessa is a loooong time "industry" friend of Azealia's she around during first come up when she was 16. She was the inspiration for Count Contessa. The difference in the two mix tapes is definitely reflected in the covers. TE was more flowery, Hunger Pangz is more metallic, more hard.
