NikkieTutorials's SL Palette review

- She enjoys the packaging of this palette much better than the packaging of the first.

- There was a lot of fall out with the shades, but you can work around them.

- Out of all the shimmer shades, Babylon had the least fall out.

- The best color was white, and the worst was the silver.

I'd say that's a C+ review, but it seems overpriced for the quality of the makeup. It's a step up from Fame No. 1, though, so that's a good thing.

Weird choice to name it Stupid Love and not include more pink. I feel like the name was an afterthought...

I like that even though she's done a video with Gaga she kept her critiques honest - Very respectable.

Just a question from someone who doesn't wear makeup, are fallouts bad even if the colors are pigmented?

It wasn’t even that bad of a review as y’all are making it seem, she really enjoyed the color story and most of the colors except the Free Woman shade and she enjoyed the packaging much more than the first palette. The only issue was the fallout but the pigment was pretty great for the shades of blue which are particularly hard to make. I’d say she probably gave the palette like a B. Definitely a step up from the last palette so that’s what counts.

They complained about no color and lack of pigment with The Fame and she corrected and there’s more color and way better payoff, but more fallout. Hopefully they can master that next step

I am loving the maroon/wine colors.

I really need to start practicing my eye shadow techniques so I can try to do these types of looks. :bradley: Blending is so hard for me and I can't seem to figure it out, I think I just need better brushes.

Bloody

loving the honesty with her review

seems like it's not worth 50 dollars for that palette though, despite the pretty colours

Fallout is mostly just an annoying thing to deal with because if you've already done your foundation, the eyeshadow colour can smear across your cheek when you try to wipe it away. Fallout doesn't really matter if you do your foundation after your eyes though.

More pigmented shades tend to have more fallout in general. Shimmer fallout in particular can be quite annoying because glitter gets everywhere!
