She's done trying to be political through her music. Now is pop perfection after pop perfection. And to be clear, Teenage Dream and a lot of Katy tracks are just as pop perfection as Gaga's old hits. I don’t have a problem with someone being political but I think with Katy it didn’t work too well because not many people think of her as the activist type. She tried with songs on Witness but they didn’t work—except for Chained To The Rhythm really. Teenage Dream will always be one of her strongest albums followed by PRISM.
