I'm sad to be honest. I'm so excited about the album because I love Never Really Over so much and I was very pleased to get the album in June. I hope it's a fake date. Katy shouldn't wait that long to drop the album.

You literally have a lady gaga album coming in two weeks :billie: miss perry can wait

chaeri pls

I'm more excited about Katy than Gaga to be quite honest. There was a lot of drama in this era already. Katy is ready to drop the carefree pop perfection.

Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.

Nothing about Katy Perry’s music is perfection :awkney:

to them it may seem like Katy's music is perfection. does that mean you have to have the same opinion? no. does that mean you have to bash theirs? no. i don't blame them for being more hyped for KP5 than Chromatica

Can't wait for Katy to release. I think she will do moderately well, the hate train has passed.

Yes. Gaga tired me a lot during this album cycle. And I was sure back in February Chromatica would be smooth.

Yes. Never Really Over is more interesting than Stupid Love. I prefer Never Really Over because it makes me feel good.

Yes. I learned to appreciate all the pop girls I grew up with.

Thanks, love. I'm just tired of drama. We have enough of it already. We need eras to go smooth and Smile is turning that way.

You may not like Katy Perry, but she's surrounded by marketing geniuses.

Her promo strategies are always on point

Looking forward to giving this era a chance.

She deserved a chance since Never Really Over. She's done trying to be political through her music. Now is pop perfection after pop perfection. And to be clear, Teenage Dream and a lot of Katy tracks are just as pop perfection as Gaga's old hits.

I don’t have a problem with someone being political but I think with Katy it didn’t work too well because not many people think of her as the activist type. She tried with songs on Witness but they didn’t work—except for Chained To The Rhythm really. Teenage Dream will always be one of her strongest albums followed by PRISM. Those two definitely have some songs that are along the lines of pop perfection.
