Yeah, the first season should’ve been the only season. I ‘liked‘ the other seasons for the characters but that’s it.

Is this show worth watching? I heard mixed comments about this.

I think so. As someone in the mental health field I think the “glorifying suicide” controversy of season 1 was completely blown out of proportion. But I would give it a shot !

Thank you, I'll think about this more after Gossip Girl!

Well I just finished watching Season 4. It was a nice closure to the series, I liked it. I understand the hate it gets but I still like the show for what it is. Episodes 9 and 10 were my favorite oh my god I was on the edge of my seat all the time.

Spoilers:

Spoiler

Episode 9 with the prom party was so good, loved Alex and Charlie's relationship. One of my favorites scenes was Winston dancing with Monty and all of the dialogues, very sad but a great way to give him some closure.

And oh my god Justin is my favorite character, I can't believe he had such a great character development and it ended that way, I cried for real but I guess he was bound to have that tragic ending. Episode 9 was going so well then ended with him collapsing and everything went to **** after that.

I honestly forgot who Hannah was after watching season 3 & 4.

Is that bad considering she is actually the character that the show revolves around? :poot:

In my messy era.

spoilers alert. But the consensus.... no one would seem to care.

Well this sucked horribly. I’m glad it’s over, but honestly the final plot twist has me furious. They had a chance to show that HIV is not a death sentence... and they did the complete opposite. I’m livid they chose this ending for Justin. It’s a slap in the face and disregard to the amazing progress that has been.

the season over all just was awful, besides the lack of care for their characters, writing, and going to extremes (the school shooting, camping trip, school riot) there is a complete lack of connection with what made this show great to begin with. Such a shame.

Why does the Hillcrest kid care about.. Bryce?

While I appreciate the Lgbt rep, it feels like they are making every other male character gay?

He cares about Monty and Monty was framed for bryces murder... so by uncovering the truth about bryce, Monty will be cleated if that charge.... because he fell in love with Monty.... it’s the worst motive for the character.

I second this. Nothing about the show made suicide seem glamorous or desirable. I feel like the only way someone could argue otherwise is if they wanted to ~be~ Hannah Baker, and that's their own issue to deal with.

I love the show but this season isn’t it for some reason. I stopped halfway through episode 2 because I was so bored (which hasn’t happened before). That was 2 days ago so I might go back and keep watching but girl... I hope it’s worth it.
