Guest Adarsh
ARTPOP is one of my favorite albums but there’s a reason why The Fame is still #1 on the Dance albums chart more than a decade after its release. We can appreciate both without discrediting the other. Thank you very much.
Mister Gaga 22,895
The Fame is good, yeah. But ARTPOP is better

It could've been much better. The Fame is a pop bible. A true classic and also makes much more sense. HOWEVER I have to say ARTPOP as a concept is better. The Fame plays it pretty safe. Both great albums and we can enjoy them without being mean I don't really understand what ARTPOP's concept is.

Gagaism 11,666
Both are amazing. All of her albums are amazing, I just feel more connected with ARTPOP for some reason. edit: maybe because she went out bottom that era and I have a strange thing on support artists when they go there. Anderson123 38,280
I do agree that The Fame is a better album. It has a more solid concept and I can say I love it so much but maybe I overplayed it and only listen to a few songs, skip most of the album tracks. ARTPOP on the other hand I can listen from start to finish and rarely skip the songs or have to be in the mood for some of them.

Brown Eyes and Disco Heaven still fits with the rest of the sound. Brown Eyes is a ballad but still has a beat going on. I get that's the point, but it sounds unpleasant to my ears when listening. Whereas I feel The Fame has a more pleasant sound. ARTPOP did sound dated before its release because all the EDM fads wee already done to death trap dubstep etc. Imo there were songs on ARTPOP that could've been left out, but why do you disagree with that? Bubblegum Bitch 18,934
Why do we always need to argue which album or which song, or which era is better. This is all super subjective. I enjoy Jewels&Drugs, though many fans don't like this song, and so what?

This seems to make sense. A lot of people lobe to root for the underdog, especially pop fans.
