CD, streaming (Spottily mostly)

I will not ever stop buying physical. I love the experience of unwrapping the cellophane, and then smell the new paper scent, before flipping each pages of the booklet, as I listened to the CD.

Also, I love to rip the music into FLAC/WAV quality from it. Especially if there is releases that is Audiophile certified.

Also,

Unless you are prisoners, cassettes are not the main option these days. People buying those cassettes than been trendy as of late just as part of the artists merchandise for the AeSThEtIC. Majority don't actually unwrap and play them.

It the same with Vinyl too, though not as bad as cassette does. More people actually plays vinyls that they bought. Though some did only bought it to be framed, or to collect dust on their wall or cupboard/cabinets.

Primarily..... I purchase music through iTunes - particularly from artists that I really love. For the longest time, I used to pirate songs/albums (I didn't have a lot of money then lol) and import them into my library to then import into my phone/iPod/iPad, but the screen of my primary computer stopped working. So I can no longer sync music to my devices from my new computer, because that would erase a lot of what I already have (music that wasn't purchased - which includes leaks, unreleased songs, songs from indie artists not available on streaming, etc.).

My mom has an Amazon Prime account, so she lets me use Amazon Music as well. On this app, I'm able to download songs/albums for offline use, but the music availability on the service is very limited. They don't always have new releases, and it all depends on what's available. Sometimes, not even really old releases are on there. But it's what I use very frequently, especially on my Amazon Echo.

I use Spotify for free on my PS4 and on my computer to play music on-demand but with ads. It's really cool, I like Spotify a lot, but the biggest reason I would buy a subscription for it would be to use it through my PS4. Because if Apple Music could do this, I'd just use that instead.

And finally, I use YouTube a LOT. For obvious reasons. :hor:

Spotify.

I remember the good days of downloading and I wouldn't wish it on anyone :ladyhaha:

I had over 5k songs in middle school/high school and I lost it all when my computer crashed, I still can't forgive Spotify for not existing back then lmao.
