But oh well we got other great things! Born This Way and The Edge of Glory are hit singles though. But, those submissions they sent were questionable. I love Judas, but it did not make sense to submit it for ROTY and they didn't submit TEOG or BTW for anything.
TimisaMonster 31,073
The concepts...how much of her art and vision has she had to compromise over the years... Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!

Absolutely, I meant that the last single from born this way was obviously not the biggest hit, which is marry the night! That song and video deserved the world. I think the concept of this performance is great but to think that she would put in so much effort and costume changes for a song that's already a dead horse is kinda sketchy, I can see her do it though just not the last part with the wings and mask, that's not her... Also she did at the vmas 2009 so she would never repeat a similar ending. I do kind of agree with the ending. The main reason why I went with Marry the Night and not what the sixth single was supposed to be, which was Heavy Metal Lover, was because Marry the Nights underperformance removed the chance for a sixth single. he/him/his

If it makes you feel better, Duets II won the album for best Grammy. That album featured Lady Gaga and Tony Bennets cover of The Lady is a Tramp. So we technically did not lose out completely that night. he/him/his

Everyone heard that song, or at least read an article about that song. She performed it at the Grammys, arrived in that fcking vessel. Where are you from? How old are you? I don't understand your question. Edge of Glory was 1000x more successful than Stupid Larva or even Applause. In my country, the radio played it nonstop. She was absolutely the biggest thing in music in the beginning of 2011 till May. So yes, these song are not just superior and unique but hit singles aswell without a doubt. I was quoting a post that said the BTW era ended without any hit singles. I was 15 when BTW came out and was absolutely obsessed and entirely aware of its success. It’s my favorite Gaga album and it has a profound influence on me. The question mark at the end of the statement was more of a “wtf are you talking about” question mark, as opposed to a genuine question. Absolutely adored that era and watched her promo performances religiously (teal Ga is still one of my favorite looks) We have forgotten our public MANNERS
