And that Elon is only throwing a tantrum cuz this will affect his monetary growth? Damn" ^I guess that part didn't register - not surprised, people like you seem to have very selective comprehension... I'm also not surprised you'd find the concept of a slave trade funny Sex slave trade isnt funny. The fact that you bring it up here is laughable. Even a bad job cant be compared with that. Not even worker exploitation isnt the subject of this article. You wanna pretend that all or the majority of Tesla employees hate their job. It's unlikely. The workers should be provided with salary and accommodations to live well without having to risk their lives and go to work. Abusive to him, the owner of the company that brings him money yes. Every virus is deadly and considering the mortality rate of this virus is turning out to be 0.5-0.1% mortality we can certainly calm down about the hysterics surrounding the virus. also can you tell us where companies are supposed to find this secret stash to pay 45,000 full salaries ? global economies need to open immediately. The cost will be far greater than the mortality rate of COVID. Economic collapse means poverty poor health conditions closed hospitals and the incapacity or state and federal governments to provided financial assistance. Therapeutic and vaccine research also grinds to a halt — good luck going through an economic depression while a pandemic is around. And considering how linked the world is if an economic powerhouse like the United States collapses it’ll bring down every allied nations and the third world that relies on any kind of aid coming from Europe or North America Elon called it like he saw it — the lockdowns are tyrannical , proving to be ineffective in North America and much Europe and are only weakening the economies around the world. When governors and mayors are infringing on constitutional rights like De Blasio saying protests are not allowed — yes it’s tyranny. But I wouldn’t expect anti-caps to understand that *shrug*

The fear of poverty is a very middle class thing, and it is through that fear that rich capitalists - a.k.a. the boots you're licking - can control you. 11 minutes ago, MissKombucha said: poor health conditions America doesn't have a health system (for the people who cannot afford the exorbitant costs) and people die because of completely preventable conditions due to that, so I wouldn't say much on this talking point if I were you. 11 minutes ago, MissKombucha said: also can you tell us where companies are supposed to find this secret stash to pay 45,000 full salaries ? They can kindly look at the place where regular people who don't earn BILLIONS are expected to have, let's say, money enough for three months out of work? 11 minutes ago, MissKombucha said: And considering how linked the world is if an economic powerhouse like the United States collapses So when the problem is U.S. the world is suddenly linked and we all should care, huh? Apparently destabilizing a whole ass region - Middle East - and waging war, meddling in elections and hiring death squads do not harm the rest of the oh-so-linked world? 11 minutes ago, MissKombucha said: the mortality rate of this virus is turning out to be 0.5-0.1% mortality Lmao, just because you are not in a risked group - or you do not care - does not mean it is not important. Also he is a pioneer in electron payments and transport systems. Name 1 single person alive right now who has done half the things he has. oh honey, I could name more than 1, but they are just not as famous and rich as Mr. Musk. Kary B. Mullis, Simon Conway Morris, Anthony Fire, Luc Montagnier, Pierre Chambon, Ronald Evans, Charles Kao, Leroy Hood and more and more, all of them works on things that are gonna change the world, from HIV research, Astronomy, Biotech, Nanotech, Genetics and more and more. So I'm pretty well education, thank you, I just prefer to follow people who're really contributing and trying to make a change. Musk is a populist inventor and his recent invention where a flop, isn't he the one that crashed that spaceship that Gaga was suppose to perform in space with? or that car with the unbreakable glass that broke live after 1 hit? skaxboy 6,913
He should just wait a little longer like the rest of us are doing. So theoretically, let’s say he does “immediately” close said factory. People will be out of a job and he will have to relocate. He will have to pay for new locations for his hq and factory, relocate all the materials, recruit and train new staff and hope all goes well. I’m sure him waiting a few extra weeks will be an easier route to take.

Seriously you are typing the names of modern day scientists? Of course they are not as rich and popular as Elon, cuz they are scientists, not public figure 🤦🏻♂️ As you may have noticed, we were not discussing researchers and Nobel price winner scientists. Elon is not a scientist. He is an entrepreneur, businessman, the one that utilizes his resources for pushing boundaries in multiple fields that change the world, which no other person have been able to do so, debatably even better than some governments and state agencies, and enabling R&D to thrive which is in the benefit of the scientists you named. And no, he did not “crashed the spaceship that Gaga was supposed to perform” Darling, you have no idea..

I'm a zooarchaeologist and I worked with geneticists in Europe about the woolly mammoth and the possibility to bring it back to life, a cross countries project I had to stop though, my husband and I moved to Costa Rica for his job at the university, he's connecting Costa Rica's math department with Europe and the USA. My husband is a professor for mathematics, algebraic-geometer, he's working on torsos and fundamental groups scheme, he's last paper was accepted for Duke I know a few Fields Medal mathematicians personally. So don't discredit me either. I know what everybody knows from the media, sure, not gonna lie about that and from what it looks like, his project didn't make any success.
