Today in 2011, Lady Gaga released my all time favorite track “The Edge of Glory” as the third single from Born This Way. :firega:

This was supposed to usurp the throne from Bad Romance! An underrated track! Could've been her defining hit!A modern classic!

I'll WRECK U right Up...G.U.Y.!!!🌋💥

Still pressed the original MV concept was scrapped. Would’ve been up there as one of Gaga’s best videos :bradley:

I use to be upset too, but I’m glad we got the music video we have today. It’s much more simpler for this song and sets the tone for her future videos like Perfect Illusion and Million Reasons.

This song before its release, was the selling point for me. Born This Way and Judas didn't do it for me, but The Edge of Glory showed me she had it in her to make an iconic power pop song. The title, the theme, the lyrics, Clemons on the sax. A signature Gaga hit.

I remember the first time i listened to this song was before piano practice on my iPod shuffle, and i had climbed up the cherry tree in our backyard with my headphones and notebooks. it was love at first listen.

TEOG is actually a defining hit and one of the highlights to BTW. But I get what you mean. ;)
