Simply because she referenced her sales, does not mean that she isnt referencing her art. To Gaga, those are one in the same. Her "art" is what got her the sales. She didn't have to stoop to trashing other artists in order to get recognized. Her art spoke for itself, hence why she is basically the top woman in the world right now. If Die Antwoord's art was so pristine, then they wouldnt have needed to bash her. Plain and simple. Yes, I know: Gaga marries art and commerce. But again, what her tweet implies is essentially that *every* artist should marry art and commerce and that commercial success is the yard stick against which all artists will be measured, because she's trying to insinuate they're lesser because they've sold less. And that's just not true. At least in terms of artistic integrity (obviously, it's true that they've sold less). She's such a horrible person. :roll: That's the troll's arguments. Don't forget they posted a fat gaga on their Facebook page and deleted it cause they got scurred. Respect Gaga highly if you must, but don't set yourself up for disappointment. I don't set myself up for disappointment. I just naturally developed my standards as I got to know her as an artist. Sometimes she'll not meet them, most of the time she'll exceed them. That's mostly how it's been. And I'm fine with that. Everyone must really be bored Don't think it's as big a deal as everyone is making it out to seem. I'm not saying Gaga should've taken the high road and ignored the horrible shade in the Fatty Boom Boom video, but that tweet is just immature. Hell, a simple "F*ck you" would've been better than that "I have hit songs and you don't" crap I don't love her any less though, and she was probably very pissed and hurt, which is totally understandable.
