 ok fat shaming is wrong and extreme skinniness is typically unhealthy and extreme weight loss is a sign of eating disorder

 

but that doesn’t mean that skinny>fat is some “narrative” that is entirely wrong

 

i mean it’s still scientifically healthier to be skinny & lose weight when you are currently “overweight”. Idk now if Adele was, but their is NOTHING wrong with her choosing to lose weight for health benefit. Seeing as she’s aging, she’s likely becoming more aware of long term habits that can impact her health (ex. how your diet impacts your heart/arteries). And since she is a very impactful musician/celebrity, she likely puts a lot of emphasis now on being healthy, which losing weight CAN be an aspect of.

I don't know why but i feel like if she still releases the same kind of music like she used to she's gonna flop next era. Part of her appeal is her look. Yes, her chubby mature look makes her lovable and ties perfectly with her sound IMO. It may boost her socials but idk how it will translates to music sales.
