Free Woman reminds me of...

It sounds like 90's house, disco-is inspired. Doesn't sound like Deeper and deeper to me, but I don't care about Free Woman being compared to one of Madonna's best song

Also I never heard the similarities between BTW and Express Yourself, so... :ohwell:

 it's just house tropes

it's like saying many african-jazz-beat songs are copying each other off because of similar guitar riffs, it's just the style

edit: not saying u r saying she's copying OFC im just preempting that argument

Deeper and Deeper is one of my favorites songs Madonna; maybe I found the relevance!

I love deeper and deeper. I though of Chic though. I think it's subjective.

Yeah, that's true. I was paying more attention to the music when I first heard it. Then I was like - hey I heard this before!

All house music sounds similar due to that four-on-the-floor drum beat and signature hi-hat. It's a-given that you've heard it before. So glad she's branched in to full-on house xo

Actually the demo version of Free Woman reminds me of Show Me Love by Robin S.
