I would love a concert in VR by Gaga.

Chromatica will live on forever.

I'm not paying a dime to see a virtual concert. No

If something like that succeeds, it could well become a new medium for viewing artists. It's not something we want, hell no. Hologram concerts are already too far

I recall watching Lady Gaga’s Coachella concert live on TV and then thinking, hey, thousands of people are now fighting traffic and trying to get home and I can just walk upstairs and go to bed. I would have gladly paid for a PPV of that concert.

Yes, but it was a good experience because there were people in the venue. In my country, a festival tried to go on with a show from an empty venue and it was pretty sad lol.

I've got nothing against this. it sounds like a pausible temporary solution, I'll have to wait and see how it works.

Kindness rules all.

Streaming concerts IN venues? Venues full of people? Doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose?

The people wouldn’t be there ....but it would give the space for the artist to build their stage and execute the exact version of the tour they imagined

Ideally they would film the show and not acknowledge the lack of crowd. I’m imagining a green screen wrapped around to create some sick visuals

Geoblocked

pay-per view

location based concerts

‘’that’s gotta be some of the dumbest things I’ve heard so far. Do they not know what the “internet” is...
I think overall it seems dumb but to block it off ... why the hell ... fire whoever made that dumb suggestion

None of it would work anyway. Pay for it and use a VPN to watch it live or just wait the next day for a download/stream.

She's done it before with her Dive Bar tours. But nothing beats a fierce live Gaga moment! The only thing I have not seen of hers is the Vegas set.

Y’all remember the ARTPOP Fallon performance ? The way they filmed it you can barely tell an audience is there except for the 2 seconds of cheering when she starts to go down the stairs

Why is variety acting as if concerts will never comeback the pademic doesnt last forever

So you really expect live touring to just shut down until 2021? Not gunna happen. And as the article says - there are several artists with plans to announce shows like this in the coming week.

I hope I don’t see any of you in the “Chromatica Experience” virtual concert thread when/if Gaga actually does do something like this if y’all are so against it for some reason :ohwell:

I don't see anything wrong with it if the production replicates an actual concert and not just the artist performing in their living rooms/studio/garage. I remember @ARTPOPSYCHOLOGY suggesting weeks ago that Gaga can just replicate a regular live performance but without an audience for promo. I can see this working for a virtual concert tbh.

I did!! I’ve been saying it for awhile. With the rumors of the planned Apple fan event I really think they’d consider still doing it in this new medium

SM Ent., a kpop agency, is already doing these and it’s working for them. And honestly if Gaga ever did it I can see you all paying for it even if right now you’re against it :ladyhaha: oh and they’re doing it on an actual stage.

Yeah, and the visuals are INSANE. I would like to see it for as long as this **** lasts.

Since movie theaters will likely be up and running by later this summer, a Chromatica show could be beamed into theaters and people could watch in seats at a safe distance from others.

How long before we see Chromatica themed face masks?
