Let me guess, you don’t watch the news literally at all. Someone died every two minutes in New York on release day. Also, her team didn’t plan for an era from home so they rescheduled so they could figure out a different attack plan for the album. Say what you want about her team no one predicted a pandemic so no they didn’t come up with two promotional strategies “just in case of an international emergency” just like our government did. You all really hold Bobby to a higher standard than the world’s leaders it’s so comical

Also I'd say Gaga had a bigger advantage being: she's a bigger star, and Stupid Love was officially released closer to the album release being more fresh on people's minds and still be a hit on the charts.

A few months doesn't make a big difference, don't use that as an excuse hun.

Please, if The Weeknd and Gaga released on the same day, The Weeknd would go #1 due to streaming. He is a way bigger streaming artist than Gaga. Gaga is more of a physical album seller and relies on pure sales the most.

 

And yes, that "excuse" makes a huge difference. He released 2 singles that went #1 and his songs were already growing on streaming and radio, so audiences were already familiar with his era, while Gaga only had Stupid Love, which underperformed and dropped on all metrics besides radio (now it did).

Um having those two good singles and videos out since fall of last year. 
 

and having music videos for 2-3 other songs already lined up and ready to go. The Weeknd’s also a GP artist and Gaga is a fan base artist her streams are gonna mostly come from us his come from everyone. He had over a million Apple Music Pre saves there’s a genuine thirst and interest for him that Gaga does not have. They aren’t the same

Cause it's leaking...Snippets pop out of nowehere on the internet and she knows it. I was pro not releasing it but with the leaks going on I changed my mind cause leaks DO HURT AN ALBUM'S MOMENTUM.
